We are excited to share with you a new musical opportunity in partnership with Abingdon Court Care Home (Marcham Road).
Gillian will be running intergenerational music sessions at Abingdon Court once a month on a Thursday at 10:30. These sessions will give you the chance to enjoy music with your child alongside forging friendships with residents of the care home.
Research has shown that music is so beneficial to mental health and historically when we have run similar sessions elsewhere, we have found that the residents have loved interacting with children and their parents for an enjoyable and engaging music session. It is also wonderful to see the children interacting with new faces and to grow in confidence in a new environment.
We would love for you to join us at these sessions – first one on Thursday 22nd February.
