Julia is an expert singing teacher in pop, rock and musical theatre for  Over 16s and Adults vocal coaching and singing lessons from her private home studio in Abingdon as well as offering Adult singing group lessons in pop / rock and musical theatre and opportunities to perform  at Abingdon Music Centre.   Julia is also Head of Pop and Rock at a local private school and has been working as a singing teacher and vocal coach for over 25 years, and has taught for both READ College, the Urdang Academy and Pineapple Performing Arts (London) as well as local students from Abingdon and Witney College Performing Arts, Wilkes Academy and more.

Her early performing career was mainly in ‘Juke Box’ style musicals as a actor-musician, touring internationally, nationally and appearing in the West End. As well as being an Abingdon based singing teacher, Julia is a singing in two local cover bands as well performing in voice and acting work. Julia has a keen interest in song writing, having had songs published and licensed to TV in the UK and USA. Students include celebrities, influencers, drama school students and professional as well as beginner students. 

Julia’s approach is the versatile singer underpinned by Estill and CVT methods – helping  you achieve your goals be it getting signed to a label, auditioning for drama school, belting and mix voice, or rock and riffs! Julia launched The Voice Teacher Oxford in 2021, joining a network of leading professional singing teachers and vocal coaches to deliver excellent results to all of her clients.

Julia runs monthly adult singing group classes (up to 10 participants) at Abingdon Music Centre usually mid month – Fridays 7.30-9pm in musical theatre and pop/rock. Please visit the Facebook page for updates:
