M Music Performance, Dip. Piano Teaching: Piano

Claudia is a classical pianist, singer, teacher and performer. She is currently working at Matrix Music School teaching the Yamaha Music course to young children and 1-1 piano lessons. Her passion for music started at the age of 4 and her qualifications are as follows: MA Music Performance at Chichester University, Yamaha Junior Music Course Teachers Qualification, ATCL Piano Teaching London, completed ABRSM in Piano, Singing, Flute, Recorder and Violin. She also worked as a Teaching Support Assistant for the West Sussex Music Service at a school in Chichester.

Claudia also studied violin, voice and recorder, gaining several awards at Worthing and Chichester music festivals, other music festivals and performed at various concerts and charity events.

Claudia believes that piano is a great instrument to learn and her aim is to give students and adults the joy of being a musician, supporting them through their learning and progress, enabling them to have fun learning different styles of music that they enjoy playing and to take exams and play at concerts. She’s currently a member of ISM, Abingdon Music Centre playing the violin in Abingdon Community Orchestra, and also sings at St Edmund’s Church (Choir) and plays church hymns at St Nicholas Church Abingdon.
